Auditorium Sessions
German Technology Day offers a full-day technical session event that runs in conjunction with the exhibition.
Fourteen companies will present live sessions covering a variety of topics focused on this year’s theme: The Future of Factory Automation: Safe, Secure & Connected.

Roland Younk is responsible for establishing EPLAN Canada and has been responsible for its success in Canada for almost 25 years. Roland has over 30 years’ experience with the EPLAN software and services portfolio, and brings a wealth of knowledge to this role in Canada.

Andre Bousette

André has been with Rittal Systems Ltd., Canada for over 25 years when he joined as an Account Manager, then rose to National and Regional Sales Manager, and today, he leads Rittal across Canada. He has over 30 years’ of experience in the Manufacturing and Automation fields, and has established himself as an innovator and thought leader in this space.

CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert

Yannick has over 15 years of experience in safety machinery. He took part in the conception of several projects in a variety of different industries. Since 2017, Yannick takes care of the development of Eastern Canada for Pilz and he is also our CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert) instructor for our French speaking CMSE Training sessions.

Senior Sales and Application Specialist
WAGO
Sergio has been working for WAGO for more than 4 years, before that, he has worked for some the biggest companies in the automation industry. As a PLC and DCS programmer, he has been part of multidisciplinary teams in a wide range of industries in Canada, United States and South America. At WAGO he is in charge of supporting the industrial automation line of products in Quebec and the Maritimes.

Electric Automation Business Development Specialist

Kevin has a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and has held different roles throughout the last ten years, from design, project management and business development. He applied his experience in Industrial Automation and in the Military Industry. He is now in charge of expanding the Electric Automation market at Festo, thanks to his specialization in electrical motors, servomotors and PLCs.
