EPLAN, Festo, Murrelektronik, PILZ, Bosch Rexroth, Rittal and WAGO, seven prominent companies in automation and advanced manufacturing, based in Canada with their headquarters in Germany, host the annual German Technology Day trade show and conference.
Live events: Each company will have exclusive booths to share their latest industry-leading, energy-efficient solutions, and introduce you to some of the most innovative technology.
Virtual Event: The “virtual booths” which include a range of videos, literature and case studies on the various solutions.
German Technology Day offers a full-day technical session event that runs in conjunction with the exhibition.
The 7 companies will present live sessions covering a variety of topics focused on this year’s theme: The Future of Factory Automation: Safe, Secure & Connected.
The Toronto event will commence with a greeting from the Consul General, Federal Republic of Germany, Toronto, Thomas Schultze.
At the Montreal event, Susanne Aschi-Glesius, Germany’s Consul General, Montreal, will deliver the opening remarks.
Participants at the live events will have to complete their ‘Passports’, and attendees as the virtual event will have to visit the booths or attend the sessions to answer a simple question related to each host company. There will be a draw conducted from the submissions received for a chance to win 3 Visa cards worth $1,000, $500 and $250. Winners will be announced through email after the event.
The 2021 theme for the event is ‘The Future of Factory Automation: Safe, Secure & Connected.’
German Technology Day 2021 will take place on October 26th in-person (Toronto, English) AND online, and will take place again in-person on November 2nd (Montreal, French).
The event is targeted towards engineers, technicans, and supply chain professionals in industrial manufacturing, however will include industry trends and high level concepts suitable for managers and executives.
Each company will share their latest industry-leading, energy-efficient solutions, and introduce you to some of the most innovative technology in the industry at their individual booths, where you will have access to a range of videos, literature and case studies on the various solutions.
This event is both free online and in-person.
